1. Cookies and storage

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser to remember information. Local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) is a similar feature that also keeps information in the browser itself.

This policy applies only to the vibelive.chat website. How data is handled in the VibeLive app is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. What this site uses

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Today, we use only two items in your browser’s local storage, both strictly functional:

• vl-lang (localStorage): remembers the language you chose (Portuguese or English), so the site opens in it next time. It stays in your browser until you clear it.
• vl-lang-dismissed (sessionStorage): remembers that you dismissed the language suggestion, so it doesn’t show up again while you browse. It is cleared when you close the tab.

These items only store your preference. They don’t identify you, they aren’t sent to our servers and they aren’t shared with anyone. Because they are needed to remember a choice you made yourself, we don’t ask for consent to use them.

3. Fonts and external services

The site’s fonts are hosted on the site itself, so your browser doesn’t make requests to third-party font services.

The site links to external pages, such as the App Store and Google Play. When you click one of those links, you leave our site, and the policies of whoever runs the page you visit apply.

4. How to clear or block

You can clear this data at any time. The site keeps working normally; it just won’t remember the language you chose.

• In your browser settings: in the privacy settings, look for the option to clear cookies and site data and choose vibelive.chat (or clear data for all sites). In Chrome and Edge, it’s under Privacy and security. In Firefox, under Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. In Safari, under Privacy → Manage Website Data. Menu names may vary depending on your browser version.
• With developer tools: open your browser’s developer tools (the F12 key on most computers), go to the storage area (Application or Storage), open Local Storage and Session Storage for vibelive.chat and delete the vl-lang and vl-lang-dismissed items.
• Private browsing: in an incognito or private window, nothing is kept after you close it.

You can also block websites from storing data in your browser settings. In that case, you’ll need to choose your language every time you come back.

5. If this changes

If we ever start using cookies or analytics tools, we will show a consent banner first and update this policy. No tool of that kind will be turned on without your choice.
